Alcon wanted to tell the world about their amazing Dailies Total1 disposable contact lenses. It's the thinnest and most comfortable contact lens on the market. And since we know that the worst thing about wearing contacts is having dry eyes, we decided to put your eyes to the test, with a staring competition, at various London bus stops.
We created four typical characters who challenged passers by to a one on one staring competition - using never before used, eye blink tracking software. Both the winners and the losers got a free month trial voucher dispensed from the billboard on site.
We started with 10 locations in London then took it nationwide, using same eye blink tracking technology online.
We also held a four day live event - putting East VS West London to a staring competition. West won.
